Lighter in plastic, easier to crush, and still 100% recyclable
We’ve just redesigned our classic 1.5L bottle: a stylish new look with 2 big changes:
- Less plastic: 28.6 grams, or 10.6% less packaging
- Increased use of recycled material: our bottle is now made of up to 50% recycled plastic (rPET) vs. 25% previously
The result: a roughly 30% lower carbon footprint than our prior bottle.
This new bottle represents a milestone for evian® in our goal to cut CO2 emissions by 40% between 2008 and end of 2011.
